This stage is reserved for local acts. It offers both large and small groups plenty of room to showcase their talents. The entertainers are young people from local school groups, local popular bands, and local string students. This year's South Stage Sponsor is Metrocast of Mississippi!!

9:30 Awards for Pet Parade
10:00 Starkville High School Jazz Ensemble, directed by Doug Thomas and Shawn Sullivan. This marks their second appearance at the festival, and they will be playing a wide variety of music, from swing to jazz to rock. Jazz Band Director is Doug Thomas and Director of Bands is Shawn Sullivan.
11:10 Armstrong Middle School Musical, "High School Musical", directed by husband and wife team, John and Sarah Staggers. This performance contains songs from Disney's, "High School Musical Junior", a cute story about the struggles every teenager goes through trying to fit in at school.
11:40 Armstrong Middle School Chorus, directed by Ruby Brenner This talented group of performers are well known in the community for their excellence in choral music.
12:15 Starkville Academy Musical, "Footloose", directed by Krista Vowell Has may well-known and popular songs from the 80's that will appeal to all ages.
12:45 Starkville School District Strings Program, directed by Shandy Phillips
1:25 Hannah Vandie, soloist. Hannah is interested in all forms of music, including voice, dance, guitar, and the school band. She recently competed in the Miss Teen Mississippi pageant, and also auditioned for "The Voice". She is working on her first CD.
2:10 The Lost and Founds – a group formed in 2013 through church ties. Quickly realizing that they could take their musical creativity to a new level, the group began working on their craft. Building on Hannah Buckner's lyrical and vocal inspiration, they began writing music that is an overflow of everyday life. Sometimes hopeful and other times vulnerable, it is music that is meant to challenge and inspire.
