International Village

presented by Starkville Area Arts Council

International Village – "World Jam"

hosted by the World Neighbor Association
Picture
The International Village invites you to join them as they present an array of unique arts and activities from around the world. A vast variety of cultural demonstrations and displays from China, the Philippines, India, the USA, and other countries will entertain and inform, including dancing, performance art, and many hands on activities guaranteed to provide fun for the whole family.

There is also a local flavor to the International Village! The village is designed not just to celebrate international culture, but also to expose the cultural diversity surrounding Starkville as a community. A great number of participants are students and faculty members from other countries who work or study at Mississippi State University; their personal presence makes the International Village a wonderful educational experience for both adults and children to learn first-hand about different cultures from around the world. The International Village strives to bring a harmonic environment to the festival, with displays, fellowship, and entertainment from a variety of cultures.

This village is located on Maxwell Street at Uno Mas Tacos y Tequila. See our Maps page for a full map of the festival!

Thank you to the 2021 International Village Chairs!
Co-Chair: Ruth De La Cruz
