![]() With three stages, several villages, and other events; you will find an assortment of entertainment to suit whatever your tastes are. Acts change on the hour on both the East and West Stages. Local talent featured on the South Stage includes musicals, theater, chorus; plus awards for the Pet Parade, Student Art, Writers' Village FaceBook Challenge, and so on. The International Village has an incredible line up of dancers, music acts, stepping, poetry, costumes, and even a massive Electric Slide block. If you don't know how, instruction for how to do this dance will be provided. This mix of acts features a great cross~cultural sampling of what our area offers. So be sure to swing by the International Village, plan to stay for awhile! The Celtic Village allows you to explore the Irish, Welsh, and Scottish heritage. These folks are friendly and are willing to share whatever you wish to learn, as they've a wealth of knowledge and deep roots. Keep an eye out for their marching ensemble throughout the day and throughout the festival! The Children's Village features hands~on activities for those young at heart! This entire village focuses on the smaller members of your family; providing fun, while educating young minds {we won't tell them that they are actually learning}. Stop by to see the trains and drums! The Writers' Village invites you to come write on the Rue! There, you'll find writers' stations, word blocks, interactive Lilting Limericks, Hasty Haiku, Create a Story, and Impromtu Prose & Poetry. Sign up for the Poetry Slam at the Writers' Village throughout the morning, and then go to the South Stage later in the afternoon to compete for one of nine gift cards, varying in amounts from ten dollars to one hundred.
