a Juried fine arts and crafts show

Around 150 Artists and Fine Craftsmen from all over the Southeast compete for acceptance into the Festival, where they can present (and sell) their unique hand-made art. Known for quality and craftsmanship, the Artisans' Village is home to a variety of artistic categories, medium, and styles, including painting, pottery, sculpture, jewelry, photography, woodworking, basketry, and other traditional fine arts and crafts, such as gourds, fiber, and glass.
Together, they form an incredible array of fine arts and crafts guaranteed to provide a day of artistic inspiration, as well as a wonderful shopping experience. Artisans are chosen via a juried process so each artisan sells one-of-a-kind art (for example, there aren't two artists selling frog-shaped coffee mugs).
Much of the Artisan Village will be located along University Avenue, as previous years, but some sections are moving to accommodate increasing crowds.
