Taze Fulford - Layers of figures and forms work together to tell stories on the canvas. My art is the layer, what remains when the next layer is added, and the juxtaposition of each new piece of the story. The process of adding and subtracting with paint allows me to find new space and time in the composition. The process is rooted in Mississippi and tells a new Mississippi story.

Bob Brzuszek - In my paintings I sought my true north. My mind wandered as I did, exploring new directions, colors and expression. Wherever I roamed I kept coming back to familiar themes and symbols that come from somewhere way down: time-less-ness, spirit, place, soul, grit, depth. The blues, baby. It’s why I live in Mississippi, these ghosts are all around here, persistent in people and place, it runs deep in the mud.

I use vintage and found items in my art - papers, tape measures, game pieces, rocks, etc. I incorporate fabrics, metal, wood, and inks to created clean, layered designs for one-of-a-kind pieces.
I began taking part in festivals five years ago. I've grown from participating in one-day, local events to multi-day, adjudicated regional art festivals including the Jerry Brown Arts Festival (Hamilton, AL), GumTree Festival (Tupelo, Ms), Arts Alive (Florence, AL), and the Prairie Arts Festival (West Point, MS). At the 2016 Masterpieces and Mimosas (Tupelo, MS), I was awarded Best in Show.

Gyotaku/Acrylic paintings: All the acrylic paintings begin with an actual fish. The fish is printed using Gyotaku, the Japanese art technique of fish printing, with cotton fabric and acrylic. This provides many or the finer details, especially scale texture. The print is then stretched over a custom frame and carefully painted to the characteristics of each fish. There will be for sell originals and prints. Only 10 prints full-size limited edition of each fish will be printed. Each work is matched with a custom frame.

Felted paintings: Felting is the most ancient form of textile art. This paintings use 100% wool materials as "paint" on a variety of fabrics. The wool fibers are felted using needles that insert the in the background fabric or felt. Also, the fibers are felted using the wet technique. They could be 2D paintings or 3D sculptures. Paintings are also machine quilted and embroidered .

Art quilts: Quilt art, sometimes known as art quilting, mixed media art quilts or fiber art quilts. Art quilts use an art form that uses both modern and traditional quilting techniques to create art objects. Final art quilts are mounted in embroidery loops or custom frames.

Hi there! I’m a professional Interior Designer in Atlanta, GA and MSU alum. I’ve combined my love for architecture and art by creating one of a kind paintings influenced by architectural forms. I paint with acrylics mixed with a compound to enhance texture and glossiness. Each of my paintings are unique and made with love. Each stroke is done using a palette knife which creates an abstract look with heavy texture. My preferred subjects include churches, historical buildings, florals & landscapes.
